NDIS

About the NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), overseen by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), provides funding for eligible Australians with a permanent and significant disability, either from birth or acquired later in life.

  • Permanent disability: Likely to be lifelong.
  • Significant disability: Substantially impacts a person’s ability to complete daily activities.

The NDIS funds reasonable and necessary supports that help individuals achieve their goals:

  • Reasonable: The support is appropriate for funding under the NDIS.
  • Necessary: The support is required and directly related to the person’s disability.

Sens8 Support Services is not a registered NDIS provider but works with plan-managed and self-managed participants. We use Service Agreements to ensure:

  • Transparency of supports provided
  • Clear understanding of costs, agreed upon in advance
  • Defined responsibilities and expectations for both parties before services begin
  • Agreed conflict resolution strategies

For more information on NDIS eligibility, funding, and applications, visit the official website: www.ndis.gov.au
